It is almost Thursday and that means check in on your appreciation task!! I hope you've had the chance to bring appreciation into your weekend even in little ways. I can't believe how many things there are every day to be thankful for and appreciate, when we stop to pause for just a moment to take in everything life is full of surprises!
I find that when life gets busy it is really hard to live in the moment instead of planning ahead and wondering what's next. This is something I need to work on and this task has really been a challenge for me. I picked up a book a little while ago called The Magic which is all about a 28 day journey to living your dreams through bringing gratitude into your life. How fitting hey!
It has 28 practices you can bring into your life – over 28 days – to make it a habit and to see “the magic” take place in your life! It is full of good ideas and makes it seem easy which is always nice for me. I however can't just dive in and do it, I need to read it from back to front and know what to expect, just one of my many quirks. But I am open to change and do need to bring gratitude into my life so I'm going to give it a go this month, seems fitting since I am really busy with working in the store and don't want it to drag me down and get me all frustrated and overwhelmed.
