Relaxing on the patio in the summer evening is something I look forward to every year. My love of patio season has inspired a few cocktails to share with you over the weeks leading up to the long summer nights. This light and refreshing martini is sure to be a hit at your next gathering.
Pink Grapefruit Martini Recipe
Pink Grapefruit Martini Ingredients:
- Ice, to fill shaker
- 1½ c. fresh pink grapefruit juice
- ¼ c. fresh lime juice
- 6 oz. vodka
- 2 oz. orange liquor, such as Cointreau or triple sec
- 1 large lime, cut into slices
You’ll find these kitchen tools useful (I've included affiliate links to the products I use at home):
- [easyazon_link identifier=”B00L0IDATO” locale=”US” tag=”reamom0b-20″]Cocktail shaker with lid[/easyazon_link] – this is pretty obvious, but to get the right flavor mix and the perfect temperature for this martini a cocktail shaker is a must.
- [easyazon_link identifier=”B00YBP918M” locale=”US” tag=”reamom0b-20″]Citrus juicer[/easyazon_link] – I use this for everything and it gets every last drop of citrus juice with minimal effort.
Pink Grapefruit Martini Directions:
- Fill the cocktail shaker with ice and add all other ingredients. Cover and shake vigorously to blend.
- Remove lid and strain into martini glasses. Garnish with slices of lime and serve immediately. Enjoy!
For an equally delicious alcohol-free version, replace the vodka and orange liquor with 1 cup sparkling water and ¼ cup fresh orange juice. Then, pour all ingredients into a pitcher filled with ice, rather than a cocktail shaker, to combine before serving.
Pair this pink grapefruit martini with your favorite appetizers for the perfect girls night. Cheers friends!
