Pink Grapefruit Martini

Relaxing on the patio in the summer evening is something I look forward to every year.  My love of patio season has inspired a few cocktails to share with you over the weeks leading up to the long summer nights.  This light and refreshing martini is sure to be a hit at your next gathering.

Pink Grapefruit Martini Recipe

Pink Grapefruit Martini Ingredients:

  • Ice, to fill shaker
  • 1½ c. fresh pink grapefruit juice
  • ¼ c. fresh lime juice
  • 6 oz. vodka
  • 2 oz. orange liquor, such as Cointreau or triple sec
  • 1 large lime, cut into slices

You’ll find these kitchen tools useful (I've included affiliate links to the products I use at home):

  • Cocktail shaker with lid – this is pretty obvious, but to get the right flavor mix and the perfect temperature for this martini a cocktail shaker is a must.
  • Citrus juicer – I use this for everything and it gets every last drop of citrus juice with minimal effort.

Refreshing Pink Grapefruit Martini

Pink Grapefruit Martini Directions:

  1. Fill the cocktail shaker with ice and add all other ingredients. Cover and shake vigorously to blend.
  2. Remove lid and strain into martini glasses. Garnish with slices of lime and serve immediately. Enjoy!

For an equally delicious alcohol-free version, replace the vodka and orange liquor with 1 cup sparkling water and ¼ cup fresh orange juice. Then, pour all ingredients into a pitcher filled with ice, rather than a cocktail shaker, to combine before serving.

Pair this pink grapefruit martini with your favorite appetizers for the perfect girls night.  Cheers friends!
