I have to say that this feature was my favorite! Kathryn Morris, Desiree, adds the perfect touch of class and humor to this romantic comedy teaching us all the lesson to put family first! This movie had all of us on the edge of our seats as Desiree leaves the Big Apple for a small town lifestyle and learns what she really wants and needs in life. We laughed, we cried, and we laughed again! It truly was the perfect start to a fun girls night.
Desiree Harper's perfect life in Manhattan comes to a sudden end when her husband wants a divorce. To make matters worse, he invokes their ironclad pre-nup, leaving her penniless. We've all had those days when our Mom just doesn't know where the line is and thinks we should be living our lives the way she sees fit. This feature hit close to home in many aspects. The line has become very blurred for this Mom so the story brings instructions into privacy, humor, and life lessons that are all relatable. Making this double feature just perfect!
