My favorite way to spend Sundays is with my family! That's why we are thrilled to bring you family-friendly reading with Raincoast Books. A few cuddles on the couch, a walk, and some reading time make my heart happy. Cheyenne likes to read to us now, there is nothing cuter than watching her read to us. I have caught her and Dustin snuggled up in bed reading a book, so adorable!
These amazingly illustrated Raincoast Books are too good not to share! We hope you find a few books your family enjoys reading together as well.
Family-Friendly Reading with Raincoast Books
First up is Dustin's favorite: Here Comes Destructosaurus! I can't tell you how many times he has wanted to read this book, I guess when you're 3 and there is a dinosaur destroying a town during a temper tantrum you can relate.
Cheyenne's favorite is: I Didn't Do My Homework Because…. She easily related as she's that age when homework is starting to be assigned but she's too busy. We all know kids spend most of their time playing and don't want to sit down and tackle their homework. As the excuses get more absurd she laughs harder and harder!
A very close second favorite of Chey's is: Lately Lily: The Adventures of a Travelling Girl. I think because she can relate to the travels of Lily. After all, Cheyenne is an adventure seeker at heart! She has been on planes, trains, and boats but not a camel yet!
Family friendly Conversation inspiring books
A kid favorite is Busy Bunny Days: In the Town, On the Farm & At the Port. There is something special about a seek-and-find book with a story. Both kids can sit there and find all the hidden gems as we read the book out loud. Busy Bunny Days is a great conversation starter. We can all read the book and talk about what went on during the day in our lives as well.
The adult favorite in the house: At the Same Moment, Around the World. I have always been fascinated by the time difference around the world. Somewhere in the world, a family is getting ready for their day as we go to sleep is fascinating. This book is a fun read as you follow the story around the world. Not to mention the educational aspect of the story that captivates children.
I can't say enough about all of these family-friendly books. The illustrations are amazing and the stories are captivating and easily hold attention! If you want to add some family-friendly books to your library any of these are an excellent choice. I hope you found some new books to enjoy with the kids for years to come.
