If you've been following along this past week I wrote a post about New Week – New Goals, and it was about getting back to the roots of why I started this blog in the first place – TO BE ACCOUNTABLE. The best way to do that is have an accountability partner which I have talked about a lot in my Task Thursday vlogs. I use my life coach, my planner, my husband, and this blog to keep me on track and headed in the right direction.
My week in review in pictures!
As a quick recap my goals from last week were:
- add more exercise
- drink more water
- set monthly goals in all areas of my life
- create a list of new fun motivational vlogs I can make
- read a book just because I can
- remind myself to appreciate the present
- do a new fun activity with the kids
I have done pretty good about keeping on track with being more healthy, taking time for myself, and organization. Being present in the moment has been a lot easier since I started yoga because it really reminds you to concentrate on your breath and just. As for the goals, well I am part way there so I'm happy with that. Oh! The book I'm reading right now is exciting: A Shade of Vampire – just wait for that a review EXCITiNG!! What I learned from this past week is I need more focus in my life and I believe that will come with setting clearer goals, I feel all over the map lately.
Oh! Another fun fact is I have started editing my ebook that I've been talking about since the summer, Momma Master, and I am extremely excited about that. You can join my newsletter if you want to keep in the loop and find out how to get a pre-release copy! Its going to be a good one or at least I think so, I'm designing some new printables to help get us busy Mom's on track and reach our full potential.
So for this week, as I stated on Facebook I am adding 30 minutes of exercise to my daily routine and it has to be something I'm not already doing. So I'll set my new goals now and see just how fast I can accomplish them:
- 30 minutes of new exercise daily
- finish the first edit on my ebook – Momma Master
- Clearly define my goals
- Spend more time focused and less time being scattered – schedule and routine
- Pre-schedule blog posts
- Book Spring Break Vacation
I really need to have more focus this week I have a lot of stuff to get accomplished and need to maximize my time to get the most results of out it. I think that being focused will allow me to be more productive and waste less time because I tend to get easily side tracked now and spend too much time on the less important tasks.
Here is to wishing you a productive and fun week ahead! Be sure to leave a comment I'd love to hear what you've been up to lately and the goals you're working on or even some tips to help me stay focused!!
