Making Multitasking Work With a Toddler

By Laura CyraFebruary 25, 20155 Comments2 Mins Read

I should really be doing some paperwork today but hey I have time to write a quick post!  Today is my catch up day, I need to finish my monthly planning get my new routines underway and finish off the chores for today otherwise dirty clothes for the rest of the week!

I put on Netflix for Dustin because when you're 19 months old Curious George is where it's at!  I moved my laptop to the dining room table so I can keep an eye on him and my plan was to get some paperwork done because it's the start of a new week at the store today.  Turns out he is more interested in helping me do some paperwork then watching his show so I had to figure out how to make it work, the art of multi-tasking with a toddler!  Give him a pen and an old notebook and he's happy!

It is one of those moments that you have to find a solution that works for both of you and don't get discouraged because things don't go as planned.  Really, can you control a toddler?!  Not usually, they have minds of their own and don't really understand the concept of “I don't need your help”.

What do you do with your toddler or kids to keep them busy when you really don't need their help?  I'd love to hear from you!

I have been surfing on-line more than three hours these days, yet I by no means discovered any fascinating article like yours. It is pretty value enough for me. In my view, if all website owners and bloggers made excellent content material as you probably did, the internet will be much more useful than ever before.

Hi there! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog. Is it very difficult to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about creating my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Many thanks
