We love entertaining guests, especially in the summer when everyone can enjoy the outdoors and play games in the backyard. We’re always trying new recipes so we have something to impress our guests with and this Nestea Iced Tea Marinade Recipe is a new favorite.
Grilling a chicken breast that is juicy on the inside and has a caramelized outside is something I absolutely love. This marinade brings you a little sweetness that is perfectly balanced with the smoky spice of paprika. I chose Nestea for this recipe because the sugar has been reduced by 25% and it has no artificial sweeteners plus it is made with real tea leaves.
Iced Tea Marinade Ingredients
- ¼ cup Nestea Iced Tea Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Paprika
- ½ teaspoon minced Garlic
- Salt and Pepper
Combine Ingredients in a small bowl; you’ll have enough to cover two large chicken breasts and have some leftovers. Sprinkle marinade on both sides of the chicken before grilling; we found that the chicken absorbed the marinade and there was no need to rub it in.
BBQ the Iced Tea chicken rotating every couple of minutes until you reach an internal temperature of 165°F. Once you remove from the BBQ let them rest for a few minutes while you set the table and get everyone seated. We served our chicken with a chipotle ranch side salad, fresh veggies, and sliced French bread. Don’t forget to enjoy a cold glass of Nestea Iced Tea with your dinner!
What I like about this recipe is the combination of smoky paprika and the Iced Tea it wasn’t too sweet or spicy and caramelized the chicken nicely. If you prefer yours a little sweeter add less paprika, or for a bit more spice put in a pinch of cayenne.
Let’s stir things up this summer!
