I thought the summer sun was here to stay until the thunder starting rolling in. Needless to say our plans changed from camping to a weekend indoors. Luckily with fort building, craft projects and Netflix we'll be able to keep everyone busy for the entire weekend.
We've put a couple lists together for our rainy weekend watches! First up is a little blast from the past to what are they doing now:
90s to Now
I enjoy watching TV shows since they are short and you can watch the series at your leisure and on a rainy weekend you have a lot of content to watch! A few of the TV series we're hooked on include:
- Charmed
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer
- Friends
- Full House
- Party of Five
There is just something about the 90s shows that have me hooked. The part I like is Cheyenne, who is 9 now, can watch with us and she loves them just as much as we do.
The Netflix Original series are great as well, the new Grace and Frankie had me laughing out loud! I honestly haven't done that in ages. I guess as I get older I can relate to more of the adult dilemmas we all face and have we always find a way to make life work even through the rough patches.
If the 90s shows don't make your rainy weekend cut you'll love some of the new to Netflix releases coming in June that include:
- Homeland Season 3 (June 1)
- Suits Season 4 (June 11)
- Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated (available now)
- Super Troopers (June 1)
- Glee Season 5 (June 1)
- Dreamworks Dragons: Race to the Edge (June 26)
Plus a ton more shows that the whole family can enjoy together or alone! That's one of the many reasons why I like Netflix, they offer a great selection of shows and movies for every age. A sneak peek at a Netflix Original, Sense8, that releases June 5 that will have you on the edge of your seat:
Hopefully you can enjoy a few of our Netflix picks! I know that the 90s shows are bringing back a lot of fun memories from when the shows were actually on TV and patiently waiting as the drama unfolded.
