With Easter just around the corner, I figured it’d be a blast to whip up some new treats that the kiddos can help make too. So, I mixed together a few of their favorite things and voila—Peeps Pretzel Rods were born! Just a little heads-up: if you’ve got the kids lending a hand, things might get a tad messy. But honestly, where’s the fun in keeping the kitchen spotless anyway? I found all the supplies at the dollar store which makes this recipe affordable and fun.

Peeps Pretzel Rods
The ingredients are really simple all you need is:
- 12 Peeps Bunnies
- 12 Pretzel Rods
- 4 oz White Chocolate Melting Chips
- Your favorite sprinkles

While you're at the dollar store, let's grab a few items to make cleanup a breeze when you've got little ones around. Trust me, grabbing some placemats or a plastic table cover is gonna be your best friend. Those tiny hands have a knack for spreading ingredients far and wide! And don't forget the paper plates—they're lifesavers when it comes to quick cleanups. Now, let's get to the fun part—setting up that assembly line!
- Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
- Melt chocolate by microwaving for 45 seconds, stirring, and repeating until melted and smooth.
- Dip and or spoon pretzel rod to cover about 1/2 way in white chocolate.

4. Shake to allow excess to drip back into tray.
5. Sprinkle or roll with pastel decorations.

6. Place on prepared sheet to set.
7. When all pretzel rods are prepped place in the refrigerator for about 5 minutes.

8. Using a spoon, put a little melted chocolate on back of bunny and position on candy coated rod.
9. Return to refrigerator until set.

Alright, let's dive into this fun little project! Sure, there are a bunch of steps involved, but trust me, once you've got your assembly line rolling, it's smooth sailing. And honestly? The finished products are just adorable! The kiddos will absolutely love jumping in to help and watching their creations come to life. My favorite part? Seeing all the creativity and effort they pour into each one—it's heartwarming! So go ahead, make a mess, have a blast with it all—and maybe try not to munch on too many before Easter rolls around!
