Last night Frank and I were trying to decide what to watch as we sat back with a glass of wine and relaxed before bed. It isn't often that the two of us get to sit down alone together and watch a show. We both have very different tastes when it comes to watching something that relates to real life with a dramatic twist while he likes something action-packed.
When I'm at home I watch Netflix a lot most often in the background as I work or do a few things around the house. I guess it is like having the radio on but I like watching the plots unfold! Lately, I've been watching a few of the Netflix Original series and really enjoy them. A few I couldn't stop watching and ended up staying on the couch all weekend were:
- Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (I watched it when it first came out but had to watch it all over again)
- Bloodline
- Arrested Development
- Orange is the New Black (new season out June 12th!)

While Frank's tastes in the Netflix Originals have been more in line with House of Cards and Marco Polo. After a little browsing and making fun of each other's tastes, we decided to join the Daredevil craze! How can you go wrong with Marvel and a Netflix Original?!
Justice is Blind – Marvel's Daredevil
I was surprised by the show it was pretty entertaining, a little bone-breaking but all around a good entertaining show based on a comic book. I have to admit things that happen in the show were a little far-fetched for me but when a show is based on a comic book that's what you're going to get. We were both happy with the pick for the night and it was nice being able to watch an episode and call it an early night.
Netflix Original Kids Picks
Now that you know a few of the adult picks in the house I thought I'd share what the kids are streaming at the moment:
- The Adventures of Puss and Boots
- Ever After High Spring Unsprung (Cheyenne even hosted an Ever After party, more to come on that!)
- Mako Mermaids
- All Hail King Julien
- Inspector Gadget
I remember watching Inspector Gadget as a kid and loving it, I'm happy that Netflix has brought it back for this generation!
Now I'm off to find something new to watch in my pj's all weekend long 😉
What are you streaming on Netflix right now?
