Nothing says summer like fresh peaches but if you’re like me and go a little overboard when buying them you’ll love this instant pot ginger-peach iced tea recipe. Beat the heat this summer with this refreshingly fruity iced tea. A great swap for the local honey is agave.
This ginger-peach iced tea recipe is it is great with or without alcohol making it a family-friendly beverage like the lemon herb spritzer and watermelon mint lemonade.
The best part? This quick and easy Instant Pot version is ready to enjoy in under 30 minutes!
Instant Pot Ginger-Peach Iced Tea Recipe
Ginger-Peach Iced Tea Ingredients:
- 8 c. water
- 6 organic black tea bags, paper tags removed
- 4 fresh peaches, pitted and cut into chunks
- 1 T. fresh ginger, finely minced
- Local honey, to taste
- 1 fresh peach, cut into thin slices, optional garnish
- 6-8 fresh mint sprigs, optional garnish
You’ll find these kitchen tools useful (I've included affiliate links to the products I use at home):
- An Instant Pot, the instructions are for the IP-Duo series, other models may offer different features or buttons.
- Ceramic knife – I LOVE my knife set, they stay super sharp and are easy to store with the blade cover.
- Fine grater – this way you can skip the mincing the ginger and grate it instead.
Iced Tea Directions:
- Add water, tea bags, peaches, and fresh ginger to Instant Pot and stir to combine.
- Add lid and lock into place. Switch the vent to “Sealing” and set the “Manual” setting on normal for 5 minutes.
- When finished, allow pressure to release naturally (NR) for 10-15 minutes, then do a quick release (QR) to allow the remaining pressure to escape.
- Carefully strain the hot tea mixture with a fine mesh strainer to remove the solids. Pour the remaining liquid into a large, heat-resistant pitcher.
- Sweeten with honey, to taste, and stir to combine. Cool slightly before serving over ice with peach slices and sprigs of fresh mint, if desired. Enjoy!
Tip: Remove tea bags as soon as the pressure has been fully released to prevent bitterness. If you prefer stronger tea and want to leave the bags in longer, add a pinch of baking soda before brewing.
I like to make a double batch and freeze half as ice cubes for serving, the flavor isn't watered down then. I hope you enjoy this ginger-peach iced tea as much as we do!

Ooooh! This sounds amazing! Very refreshing for a hot summer day 🙂
I never would have thought to make iced tea in an Instant Pot! I want to try this one since it’s now peach season and I can go pick some up at the farmer’s market.
