Finding a way to include snacks that kids will love that have wholesome ingredients is always a challenge. With the summer sun finally here having a fun snack to help cool down is always a must. With a few simple ingredients I had on hand I easily whipped up some Frozen Yogurt Bites for the kids.
A printable recipe can be found at the bottom of the post.
Frozen Yogurt Bites Ingredients
- 1 container of your favorite Yoplait yogurt
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tsp chia seeds
Yoplait has a variety of yogurts to choose from including Original, Light, Greek and Gogurt which makes the possibilities for this recipe endless! My everyday choice is Yoplait Original because is contains 25% less sugar and it is great for a quick and easy snack any time of the day.
Yoplait Yogurt Bite Directions
- Combine ingredients
- Place in your favorite ice cube tray. I purchased this one at the dollar store, I find they get new trays in seasonally, I like the silicone trays because it makes it easier to pop out the froyo bites.
3. Freeze for 1-2 hours, or overnight
4. Serve and enjoy
These Yoplait Yogurt Bites make a great snack for kids and adults! You can mix things up and add the ingredients your family loves. You can double the batch and use your regular ice cube tray so you have an endless supply on hand for a healthy snack in seconds.
The Yoplait Frozen Yogurt Bites make a creative dessert. Place a couple on a plate and drizzle melted chocolate over top and your guests will be happily surprised and the best part is you can prep it ahead! Giving you more time to visit and less time in the kitchen.
