I know that when I'm sitting for extended periods of time or on road trips my feet swell for a couple of days, and when someone suggested compression therapy I was intrigued.  Like me you might be wondering what compression therapy is all about, the answer might surprise you.  It is a simple and efficient means of increasing blood flow activity in your lower limbs through strengthening vein support. 

Compression stockings act like a muscle while gently squeezing your legs in a way that helps promote blood flow from the legs back toward the heart improving circulation and eliminating unwanted swelling.  With the strongest pressure around your ankle and decreasing pressure as the stocking moves up your leg, it can give you relief from lightheadedness from standing up too quickly.
