You might remember back in October when I attended the Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival and had so much fun meeting all the different vendors and finding out just what it takes to make the perfect wine. I even got arrested at the 19 Crimes booth! My girlfriend and I attended a Dairy Farmers of Canada session and learned about pairing cheese with wine and how to create the perfect wine party! It was definitely a fun evening out I won't forget.
Winefest is back in Calgary, Alberta
Alberta’s favorite all-inclusive wine event is back celebrating its 22nd year in Calgary. Winefest invites guests to sample hundreds of local and international wines, including a selection of red, white, sparkling and dessert wines from 18 of the world's most renowned wine regions. Wine experts will be available to share their knowledge and suggest tasting notes, as attendees sample their way from booth to booth.

What excites me the most about Winefest is the fact that it’s all-inclusive! It makes for a much more relaxing, enjoyable experience when you can try whatever you like without having to worry about how much each individual sample will cost you. Plus, I love knowing that the food will be expertly prepared to match a wide variety of wines! 😀
