It’s easy for new moms to lose confidence after they have had their little one. After all, their body doesn’t look the same anymore. And it can be hard to adjust to their new body. In fact, it can make them cover up even when it’s summer time. But if you are going on your first holiday with your baby, there is a high chance you will need to get in a swimming cossie while you are away. And it can leave a lot of moms in a panic. However, you don’t have to fear going to the beach. Here are some ways to survive the first trip to the beach after having a baby.
Look into flattering swimwear
Just because you are heading to the beach, it doesn’t mean you have to go for a tiny bikini! As you can see on http://www.redbookmag.com/fashion/how-to/g562/slimming-swimsuits-for-body-type/, there are lots of options of swimwear that you could wear to the beach. For starters, you might want to go for a swimsuit which would be ideal for the beach. Pick one which is a good size which will keep you comfortable. You could even opt for one which has underwired fitted cups to help give you a lift. Also, a tankini can be a nice option for the beach. Choose a top which will cover your stomach and then go for a pair of shorts or pants which will still show off your legs! And remember to go for a flattering color like black which will help you to feel more body confident while on the beach!
Work on improving your figure
To help you feel more confident during your first trip to the beach after having a baby, you should consider working on your figure. After all, if you do your best to shift the pounds before bracing the sand, it can help you to feel more confident. The first thing you should do is work on your diet. Cut out the high-sugar and fat products and focus on healthy fruit and vegetables. You should also ensure you have a good balance of the different food groups. Also, you need to do some exercise to help you smooth out your figure. It can help you tone up before you brace the beach. And there are some diets out there like you can read on https://www.defendyourhealthcare.us/beachbody-21-day-fix-review which are targeted to losing weight for the beach. So they have everything you need to feel more confident!
Embrace your figure
It can be easier said than done, but you need to embrace your new figure when you hit the beach. After all, those marks are just showing the world you did the most magical thing in the world. And there will be other moms on the beach who are also showing off their figures after having a baby. Therefore, remember that you are there to have a good time and it’s likely no one is staring at you. And a lot of the time you will be with your baby, so people won’t be able to see a lot of you anyway!
And remember to get a good cover up like a sarong to help you feel more confident on the beach.

Great post – I can’t wait to get back to the beach post-baby! For me, having a good cotton sundress that I can put over my babysuit has been key to surviving swimsuit season this year. It says on right up until I get into the water or get out and is made of a nice breathable fabric. I also have been using my maternity swimsuit that has a built-in skirt.
