Plato. Socrates. Aristotle. Confucius. Hundreds, even thousands of years later, the names of the great philosophers remain legendary, their ideas continuing to captivate minds, stimulate thought, and shape the course of human history.

Philosopher Quote of the Week!
I am honestly in awe of what the past has to teach us if we are just willing to learn and have an open mind. There are many quotes, books and diaries that are coming to surface now after thousands of years that we can all learn so much from. It reminds me that thoughts are priceless and things are just things. We can never replace a memory, a diary, or family but we can replace almost anything else in our lives. So take a stand for what you believe in and be true to yourself – that's my lesson for this week!
What made me write this post in the frist place is a quote from Aristotle
You will never do anything in this world without courage. It is the greatest quality of the mind next to honor.
Powerful yet simple words but when you stop to think about it for a minute how true. We all get wrapped up in life and trying to be better than everyone else when really we should be looking at a person's qualities not things. For me it all comes back to values and believing in yourself.
And the last quote that I loved this week from Confucius
To be wronged is nothing unless you continue to remember it.
Forgive and forget, I know it is easier said than done but if Confucius thought it was important in 500 BC it is probably more true now then ever.
