Sunday Reminder – Menu Plan

Good morning!!  It is Sunday and you know what that means – time to menu plan!  If you haven't seen it already watch my quick video clip from Task Thursday and download my ebook My Go To Weekday Meals with FREE printable What's Cookin' – all you have to do is join my newsletter!

So here is what you are going to do, find 10 minutes today and do a couple things:

  1. Take a quick stock of what you have in the fridge/pantry/freezer
  2. Using What's Cookin' plan out your meals for the week, make your grocery list and any special notes

That's it, it is seriously that easy!  I like to use what I have on hand first before going grocery shopping.  Why not use those dried beans, can of tomatoes, a chicken breast, onion, and taco seasoning to make Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup – ingredients I always keep on hand!  Or the left over chicken to make Chicken Noodle Soup!  The possibilities are endless and finding a way to use leftovers to create something fun and new is an exciting challenge in itself.  Have fun with it and do what you can, don't make it a chore.

I will check back in to make sure you've at least attempted to make a menu plan.  I'd love to hear some ideas you've come up with and what you found helps make it easier.

  • Stopping in from the Mingle :) LOVE this post! I keep saying I'm going to menu plan, but fail! Thanks for the motivation!

  • I'm also stopping by from the Mingle. Love your ideas but I am not the cook in our family so I will just have to pass your tips onto our chef. I think he will like them.

I hope you are enjoying your weekend!
