‘Tis the season for gift-giving! I am a firm believer in saying thank you, especially when it comes to gifts during the holiday season. This year we’re adding a personal touch to all our cards with the Instax SP-2 Printer.
We’re in love with how easy the printer is to use, all it takes is the Instax SHARE app and a wifi connection. With editing at your fingertips and various templates available you can customize each image just the way you want. Once you hit print all it takes is 10 seconds and you have a high-resolution photo ready to share with the world, or those on your holiday card list.
Personalize Your Thank You Cards with Instax
Creating our holiday cards was simple with a few supplies:
- Thank You Card Template (pdf download), printed on 8.5”x11” cardstock
- Ruler
- Craft knife/exacto knife
- Envelopes
- Preferred writing instrument, we used a pen and pencil
- Instax SP-2 Printer & film
- Smartphone with the Instax SHARE app and your favorite images
Step 1 – Print the Thank You Card Template on 8.5” x 11” cardstock, using a ruler and craft knife make a clean cut down the center.
Step 2 – Using the Instax SHARE app pick your favorite photo and edit it to your liking and print using the Instax SP-2 Printer. A few fun ideas include the kids using their gifts, a family photo or a fun photo of the kids get to pose themselves.
Step 3 – Now to attach the photo – Using the printed image make a pencil mark on the two of the diagonal corners of the photo on the front of the card how you want it to look. Using the marked corners and craft knife make two little slits that you’ll slide the corner of the photo into.
Fold the card in half and let the kids write their personal thank you inside.
Place the finished card in the addressed envelope, don’t forget to include your return address and a stamp.
I have a feeling that Cheyenne and Dustin are going to impress everyone with their thank-you cards this year. It doesn’t take much to print out the template, add a photo, and leave a personal note on the inside of the card. Everyone loves getting mail and with your personal touch of a photo your friends and family will love the extra effort you put into saying thank you this year.
