As many of you probably already know I'm not one for setting New Years Resolutions, I find there is just too much pressure around actually doing them and it is a big let down when I get off track. Maybe that's just me but I would rather set myself up for success. Last year I went with “Expect the Unexpected” and 2013 proved to be an amazing year. For 2014 my New Years Theme is: NO EXCUSES.
My New Years Theme for 2014
I have to say that this year the whole NO EXCUSES theme may prove to be a bit of a challenge. If you can remember last spring I talked about Getting Out of My Comfort Zone and I joined my old softball team. Trust me I would rather stay home most days because I like being me and hanging out with me, I'm fun! Joining the team instead of subbing and getting out there and talking to people was a real challenge for me but I pushed through it and had a great season. I even went to a tournament overnight and had to camp with my team – do you believe it, I sure don't.
Time to get out of my comfort zone and be more!
This year for me is all about getting back to being healthy, loving life and getting out of my comfort zone. It is going to be a challenge but when I have NO EXCUSES it is also going to be a lot of fun! I can't wait to see what 2014 has in the works, after the amazing year that I just had I can't imagine all the positive changes that are going to take place.
