I had the recent opportunity to review Achieve Anything In Just One Year: Be Inspired Daily to Live Your Dreams and Accomplish Your Goals by Jason Harvey and I have to say I LOVE it! Â Not just because I got to review it but because it is a small challenge every day towards being a better me and really if you've been following along isn't that what I'm all about?! Â It isn't one of those dull self-help books it is more like an inspirational life manual to take you step-by-step on a path of motivation towards your goals!
A little about Jason who can be found on twitter @jhauthor
Jason Harvey is a Life Coach and founder of the Limitless Institute, a non-profit organization that funds research into human motivation and personal development, while spending the past decade and a half studying self-improvement and personal development techniques. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Dalhousie University's Faculty of Management in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He currently resides on the East Coast of Canada, where he enjoys training for marathons and attempting to master the piano.
Now back to the book, I received my copy when I was swamped at work and back in the store 10-12 hours a day but I still found the time to quickly read through the book and start my simple daily tasks because they only take a few minutes to do and who doesn't have that to spare?! Â I'm almost on my 4th week now and life is great I'm learning a lot of new things about myself along the way. Â Each day starts with a great quote and then quickly moves into your task and it isn't more than a 2-page read, how can you beat that?!
My quote today:
While we stop to think, we often miss our opportunity – Publilius Syrus
And my assignment for the day:
look back through the previous week and list times when you have missed an opportunity and take the time to journal about it and what you could do to make a different choice in the future
I love how the book is broken down into a daily task for each day of the year and they are all simple and quick, you could do it every year over and over and never get bored. It takes a simple reminder sometimes to get ourselves back on the positive path we want to be on and this book will get us there. The best part is Jason knows how to hold your attention and make you look forward to the next assignment because they don't feel like work, they're just fun and playful!
All I can say is if you are looking to get on track with accomplishing your goals no matter how big or small they are you HAVE to pick up this book! Â You won't be disappointed, I promise! Â Who couldn't use a daily dose of inspiration and homework to make themselves a better more rounded person through reading this inspired and motivational playbook.
The book gets a 4.5/5 from this Real Momma!
The .5 taken off is because it takes a little self-motivation from you to actually put this book into play, it isn't going to do the work itself you have to do that part. Â We all have the tendency to be lazy and put things off until tomorrow or when I'm not so busy and the book isn't going to hold you accountable that's your own job. Â But hey if it could jump off the table and give you a good kick then it has my full 5/5!!

Thanks! Let me know if you need any help!
Thanks Real Momma,
It looks like an interesting read. I recently started reading ‘Making Ideas Happen’, it could be a good combination.
Cheers
