Rice Krispie Pumpkins Recipe

  • 6 Cups Rice Cereal
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 ½ cups marshmallows I use mini marshmallows
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Rolos Chocolate Candy
  • M&M’s
  • Yellow Food Coloring
  • Red Food Coloring


  • Heat butter on medium heat, and all of the marshmallows. Stir marshmallows and butter non-stop until marshmallows are fully melted.
  • Remove from heat. Add vanilla, four drops of yellow food coloring, and two drops of red.
  • Pour butter mixture into a large bowl that contains your rice cereal, stir to combine.
  • Spray hands with non-stick spray, form rice mixture into balls with hands placing on a cookie sheet once formed. Refrigerate for 15 minutes or more.
  • Take formed balls from the refrigerator and gently press thumb into the top of the ball, place Rolo on top of the balls and place M&M’s accordingly.
