Bzzz…bzzz…bzzzzzz, there goes the alarm again. I whisper to myself “is it really time to get out of bed?!”, as I hit the snooze button and curl up under the warm blankets for five more minutes of sleep. Just as I start to enjoy the last moments before the chaos ensues my human alarm clock walks in…” Mom! Are you getting up we have to go to school”, and so another day begins.
I wonder when I lost the zen in my morning routine. You know the days when you could relax and sip your coffee in silence while catching up on what’s happening in the world. The days when I actually ENJOYED getting up early! Those days are long gone, a thing of the past and they never even said goodbye.
Now, I get to multi-task while packing lunches, and reheating my coffee for the fifth time and feel like I’m stuck on repeat, saying the same verses over and over again, to the point that I could probably record myself and just hit play. But there is hope, I found it in a mug and I’m sharing my little secret…Bulletproof Coffee!
Taking Back My Morning with Bulletproof Coffee
If you’ve never heard of Bulletproof Coffee before it is an upgraded coffee blended with grass-fed unsalted butter (Ghee) and Brain Octane Oil. If you want to put that smile back in your morning and think straight you need Bulletproof in your life. I honestly didn’t believe the hype but seven days later, I’m a believer!

- Brew 8-12 oz. of coffee using filtered water, just off the boil, with 2.5 heaping tablespoons of freshly ground Bulletproof Coffee Beans. For the best taste, I use my French press.
- Add in 1-2 tablespoons of Brain Octane, if you’re new to it they recommend starting with 1 teaspoon and working your way up.
- Add 1-2 tablespoons grass-fed, unsalted Ghee
- Mix it all in a blender for 20-30 seconds until frothy like a foamy latte
After a couple of days of drinking Bulletproof Coffee in the morning, I was up before my alarm and ready to take on the day. I was surprised at how much I could get done in the early morning hours.
