I am not sure if any of you have been following along with my busy life these past couple of weeks but I sold the store I owned, when life throws you luck you take it, and have been learning how to balance life now as a stay at home Mom. Trust me I have a lot of things to share in relation to that, I thought life was busy juggling the kids, house, marriage, and a business but was I wrong. But more about that later.
Back to the whole point of this post – summer driving. So in the past week I have driven back and forth, which is about a three hour drive, to my parents and home a few times to see the kids, sign papers at the lawyers and go back to pick the kids up. I am surprised at the way some people think they should drive on the highway. I am not the best driver in the world but at least I go the speed limit. What really peeves me is the people who are out for a Sunday drive and going 30 km below the speed limit. Seriously people you are more of a hazard then someone going 30 over. When I'm coming up around a corner and have to jam on the brakes in a moment of terror as to not kill you there is a problem.
I don't know if it is just me but growing up in British Columbia has given me some vast road experience from windy roads, highways, back roads, city and small town driving. I guess I just assume other people know how to drive as well because I have never known anything different. If you want to enjoy the scenery that is fine but when the speed limit is 100 km and you're going 60 or 70 km that is super dangerous, PULL OVER and take in the sites.
I honestly say this in the nicest possible way and I am honestly afraid that there is going to be a major accident because of it. Well that felt nice to get that off my chest. I guess I had better share a nice photo from one of my drives this past week!
