As you know I love home-cooked meals but I don’t like wasting time in the kitchen so any recipe that is one pan or pot is a favorite of mine. I’m sharing an easy sheet pan orange-glazed salmon with asparagus recipe that is great for dinner and takes only 25 minutes to make.
Sheet Pan Orange-Glazed Salmon with Asparagus Recipe
Orange-Glazed Salmon with Asparagus Ingredients:
- 4 x 6-oz. each salmon fillets, preferably wild-caught Alaskan
- 3 T. fresh orange juice
- 2 t. honey
- 3 T. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 T. balsamic vinegar
- 2 garlic cloves, finely minced
- 1½ lb. asparagus, tough end removed
- Sea salt and black pepper, to taste
You’ll find these kitchen tools useful (I've included affiliate links to the products I use at home):
- Large Sheet Pan, I use a commercial-sized sheet pan, I find the larger surface allows room to spread everything out and for an even bake.
- Silicone Baking Mat, this is one of my favorite kitchen tools because you can use it over and over again (after washing) and it evenly bakes whatever you have on the sheet pan. Or parchment paper works great too.
Orange-Glazed Salmon with Asparagus Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a large, rimmed baking sheet with a piece of parchment paper or a Silpat baking mat. Place the salmon fillets skin side down in the center of the baking sheet and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the orange juice, honey, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and garlic. Generously season with salt and black pepper, to taste, and brush over the salmon.
- Add the asparagus to the bowl with the orange juice mixture and gently toss to combine. Season with additional salt and black pepper, to taste.
- Arrange asparagus around the salmon fillets in a single layer and place the sheet pan in a preheated oven. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or just until the salmon is flaky and the asparagus develops a bit of color, being careful to not overcook the salmon.
- Remove from oven and serve immediately. Enjoy!
This quick and easy sheet pan meal is the perfect healthy weeknight meal. From start to finish, you can have this delicious, complete meal on the table in less than 25 minutes!

It looks so mouth-watering! I’m really scared to cook something that involves cooking it in the oven. I do not know but I’m just scared. But I’ll definitely give this a try! Hopefully I won’t overcook the salmon hahahahaha. Thank you for sharing this recipe! 🙂
