What I like most about this book is the author, L.B. Johnson, paints a picture that unfolds as you turn the pages. The book originally started as a journal she wrote to her daughter after she was given up for adoption. She really takes a look inside herself and puts her heart on the line to share her journey through life with all the lessons learned both good and bad. At the end of the book you can't help but smile and shed a tear or two. A perfect summer read!
