When you're a parent you get to the age where staying up to midnight on New Years Eve just isn't an option anymore because you know the kids will be up early the next day. We decided to ring in the New Year a little early with some help from King Julien and Netflix.
Tonight we're getting ready to move it, move it with the first five episodes of All Hail King Julien! A totally original, totally hilarious and totally insane new series on Netflix featuring a favorite character from the Madagascar franchise, King Julien. The comedy series will take you on the jungle's craziest adventures along with loyal sidekicks Maurice and Mort plus a whole new cast of colorful animals.
A little secret – if you go to the trailers and more page for King Julien there is a New Year's countdown filled with four fun minutes of singing, dancing and a 10 second countdown to ring in 2015!
Ring in the New Year King Julien Style
My plan is to trick the kids (any myself) with the King Julien countdown so we can all get a good night sleep and be ready for a day of fun on New Year's. If you need a few other Madagascar movies that will have everyone laughing or at least give you a few minutes of quiet:
I know I've taken advantage of the laid back Christmas break and have done a little Netflix binging myself. Right now I'm hooked on White Collar, Covert Affairs and The Good Wife. I like watching series because I can usually escape the crazy for 30-45 minutes and get some downtime that is much needed with the craziness of the holiday season.
How are you ringing in the New Year?
