This year for me has been all about no excuses and of course having more fun as a family and that's why we're hitting the road! Road trips are usually full of fun, screaming, and a lot of adventure. My favorite thing to do on road trips is try new places and make it into a learning experience for the kids. This weekend we are heading to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and Spokane, Washington to have a little fun and spend some time together as a family we even have time to take a tour of a local winery, CDA Cellars, which I can't wait to do.
A few of the other things I want to mention about this trip that makes me excited are:
- Mudgy & Millie book tour
- Triple Play and the Holiday Inn Express
- Monster Jam in Spokane
And that is just a couple of the highlights, I will be sharing a lot more on social media while I'm there and writing about it when we get back so keep an eye out for some fun family travel posts! I know I will be checking out a lot of the shops in the downtown area, I can't wait!
I can't wait to hit the road and get away for a little bit, I don't know if it's just me or the weather lately but I feel like I'm in a funk. It is always nice to escape for a few days and come back refreshed! Plus the surprise on the kid's face when they see the water park at Triple Play will be more than worth the whole trip!
