Sometimes I get creative and the kids were feeling a little sick so we had an inside craft day and this is our trial of a paper bag scrapbook. I think it turned out pretty good for not really know what we were doing. The day started off like this:
When you have the help of a 2 year old you tend to not be organized and try to work quickly. We made hand and foot prints with ink and paper, my walls don't like me much after this but hey it was fun and this page was totally worth it!
You can probably see that there is some pullouts on the side. It is neat how you can use 3 simple brown paper lunch bags and turn it into a scrapbook! All you have to do is fold them in half and find a way to bind them and TADA! You get a creative book with room for pull out pages and secret pockets! You can get a better idea from the side view:
All in all it was a fun day, the dining room table is still a disaster but hey at least we're enjoying it. Cheyenne has got into crafting more and coming up with lots of new creations so stay tuned to see more items we're working on. Here's a peak at the finished cover of our paper bag scrapbook trial:
We had everything on hand all you need is some paper scraps and maybe some stickers and an imagination to create a masterpiece as the kids would call it.
What activities do you do when the kids are having a sick day?!

You are so creative. Hoping it’s contagious. I like that it’s so easy and only requires items found around the house. Thanks for sharing.
