Wow, how the time flies. I can remember the day when I was looking forward to having Mom and daughter date night, and now it is finally here!!
We were invited to attend the junior high play – Annie on Saturday night with friends of ours. I'm not going to lie I am not a huge fan of theatre but the tickets were inexpensive and Cheyenne was excited for some Mom and daughter time so how could I refuse. Cheyenne and I had to stop and grab some flowers for our friend after the show, it was pretty cute seeing her pick out just the right flowers.
I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the theatre how well the students had done creating the set and seating people. I could remember back to the days when I was in high school and what our plays were like, needless to say we did things wrong, lol.
The play was amazing, the students who were mainly in the 10th grade did an amazing job acting and singing, they fit the parts perfectly. It truly made me appreciate theatre a bit more and I will happily go back again soon.
