Nostalgic for The Old Days #BoyMeetsWorld

Ever since the holidays my daughter, Cheyenne, has been fascinated with board games and tv shows that I used to watch when I was about her age.  It brings back a feeling of nostalgia that I would of never dreamed of sharing with her.  Back in the old days I used to play The Game of Life, watch Boy Meets World and send letters in the mail to my friends – all things I thought were lost in the fast paced world we live in now.  I was pleasantly surprised at how nostalgic I got over her watching Boy Meets world with me, a family friendly show that teaches kids respect and the importance of family.  I find that the shows she's watching now are nothing compared to the old days shows!

Back in the days of TGIF on ABC with shows like [amazon_link id=”B005G4FFBE” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Boy Meets World[/amazon_link], [amazon_link id=”B000EU1QC2″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Step by Step[/amazon_link], [amazon_link id=”B00005JNIS” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Perfect Strangers [/amazon_link]and [amazon_link id=”B00005JO2V” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Family Matters [/amazon_link]Friday was the favorite night of everyone in our house.  I remember making bowls of popcorn, drinking pop and staying up late just to watch all the good shows.  I am happy to share that same sentiment with my kids now.

I don't know if you've heard but  Cory and Topanga Matthews had a daughter, Riley, and she's about to meet the world in a new sitcom set to premiere in 2014 on Disney Channel!  I don't know about you but I can't wait until it airs!  As soon as I hear the air date I will be sure to let you know!!
