Wow, I can't believe how much time has passed since I actually set some real weekly goals for myself. Don't get me wrong I always have some in mind but I seem to have a few issues with putting them down on paper. Not sure if it is because I think I'm going to fail – which really I should believe in myself or if it is just from being lazy. Either way I don't want to overanalyze it and I'm going to get right down to business!
I've seen a lot of bloggers lately making blogging, fitness, personal, financial, and family goals which is what has inspired me to get back on board and make mine visible!! I'm not sure if you remember way back when I first started blogging but I used to set weekly goals for my 90 day challenge. From there I just started loving the whole blogging scene and it really took on a life of its own. But back to the point of goal setting….I'm going to start with what I call getting back to the basics so basically what I did in Week 2.
I have a head start on my exercise with the new dog and I bought a pass to hot yoga and have been twice so far and am LOVING it!!
So this week for keeping it simple and getting back to the basics I am going to:
- add more exercise
- drink more water
- set monthly goals in all areas of my life
- create a list of new fun motivational vlogs I can make
- read a book just because I can
- remind myself to appreciate the present
- do a new fun activity with the kids
That should keep me busy at least for the next little while. I've also had some HUGE response to people wanting to guest post for me so I hope it isn't driving you crazy because as you know I like to keep things REAL and all about how to find balance in our everyday lives being busy Mom's.
I can feel a new challenge coming in the near future to create more balance and just make life work, so stay tuned it could be a lot of fun!!
