I love a book that holds your attention and you can't help but finish it in a day. This Is It: A Second Chance Romance: Sand Diego Social Scene Novella checked all those boxes for me! Tess Summer put just the perfect amount of romance and complications into this book. It was a real page turner!

This second chance romance combines two failed marriages, four kids, crazy exes and explosive sexual chemistry! You quickly fall in love with the main character – Paige and Grant.
A second chance at romance doesn't come easy though. A good relationship takes work no matter who you are. They hit a few speed bumps along the way including jealous exes, communication issues and of course kids.
How This Is It disappointed me
While the book was an amazing read I felt the ending came too quickly but that's what you get with a Novella. I fell in love with their steamy romance, willingness to explore their sexuality, and navigating the tricky world of combining two families.
All I have to say is I was sad when This Is It ended and wished their whirlwind romance filled a few more chapters! I could have read well into the night and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Final Thoughts of This Is It by Tess Summers
While I was disappointed the book ended early it had a fabulous ending. Tess Summers sure can pull at your heartstrings while making you have a love/hate relationship with Grant.
If you're in the mood for a second chance romance novella this is a must read! I know I'll be reading the rest of the San Diego Social Scene series over the break.
