The creator of Kenna Swims and designer tells us about how the swim line came to life:
I am so excited to bring to you my swimwear line that was inspired by my love for fashion and also by my personal frustration of not being able to find swimwear styles that fit my specific needs and I am sure, the needs of millions of women like me out there.
I know that as women, we are at our most vulnerable and self conscious state when we are in a swimsuit. Common swimwear styles provide little to no coverage over large parts of the body, especially the upper back. I have struggled with back acne throughout my teenage years that left scars on my back. And at times, it makes me uncomfortable to wear backless clothing even to this day. And…as far as swimwear goes… I dare you to find pieces that actually cover the back… I know I am not alone in this. If you are one of the millions of women who like me, for one reason or another are looking for more converge in your swimwear, this one is for you and me.
