How to Easily Replace your Vehicle Air Filters with FRAM

Vehicle maintenance doesn't have to be difficult. The cabin and engine air filters take fifteen minutes to swap using simple tools.  By changing your air filters you can help improve air quality inside your vehicle. Let's take a look at how you can easily replace your vehicle air filters.

What I like about FRAM Fresh Breeze is they use natural deodorizing qualities of Arm & Hammer baking soda and activated carbon to absorb and eliminate odors.  The air inside your vehicle can be up to 6x dirtier than the air outside.  Installing a new FRAM Fresh Breeze cabin air filter can remove up to 98% of dirt, dust, and allergens from the air passing through your vehicle's ventilation system.

How to Easily Replace Your Vehicle Air Filters with FRAM

Visit the FRAM Fresh Breeze website

The website is full of great tips and tricks for installing your new FRAM Fresh Breeze cabin air filter.  You can also check if your vehicle has a cabin air filter that is replaceable.

Locate the Cabin Air Filter in Your Vehicle

Consult your owner's manual to find the easiest way to change the cabin air filter.  Typically it is found directly behind the glove compartment.

In the RVR you simply detach the glove compartment on the sides. It flips down and you can see the cabin air filter enclosure.  Simply release the tabs on each side and remove the existing cabin air filter.

Remove the old air filter and replace it with your new FRAM Fresh Breeze cabin air filter. Replace the cover of the enclosure and re-assemble the glove compartment.  It is as simple as that!

FRAM recommends changing your cabin air filter annually or every 24,000 km. Consult your owner's manual for your vehicle's recommended change intervals.  When changing your cabin air filter it is a perfect time to change the engine air filter, both are subjected to the same air quality conditions.

Replace the Engine Air Filter

The engine air filter prevents dirt and dust from entering and damaging the engine.

All I needed was a screwdriver and I had it replaced in under 5 minutes!  Just pop the hood, locate the compartment where the air filter resides, open it up, and replace the old one with the new one!
