Christmas is closing in on all of us and right now is the time that life just seems to get EXTREMELY busy and we all lose track of what actually needs to be done like cleaning the house, doing laundry, and making dinner. I'm getting some tips and tricks together to remind us all to stay calm, centered, and focused but in the meantime join me for this fun Sunday Social all about my favorite things about the holidays!
1. Favorite Holiday Movies/TV Specials?
That's a tough one I like the kids specials because they are so cute like Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer, but for myself, I would have to go with National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Christmas with the Kranks, and Just Friends.
2. Do you do any volunteering during the holidays if so what? If not what would you do?
I don't do any special volunteering during the holidays but I do help out at the Christmas events at the school like the skating party, recycled shopping, and the class's Christmas party. I think that it is important to volunteer year round not just at Christmas.
3. Favorite toy received as a Child for the Holidays?
That's a tough one because I liked everything I got, as a kid for me the best thing was getting presents from the I love that actually got me the stuff I like. But I think it would be my first walkman, and to think that tapes are pretty much extinct now, lol.
4. What was your must-have item in high school for the Holidays?
Must-have item was skiing or snowboarding stuff or your parents actually letting you go to the big Christmas party!
5. Item you begged for the most and never got?
I honestly can't remember not getting anything I asked for, either that or I just forgot now since it really isn't that important. I would have to say maybe a N64, we had all the other nintendo's though so it really wasn't a big deal.
6. What do you do on Christmas Eve?
We have a European background so Christmas Eve is our big celebration with family and we open our gifts! We have a meal together and then open parents and just hang out together. The kids get to put their tray out for Santa and we got to bed and wake up to special Santa presents and a big family breakfast!
That sums up most of my holiday stuff, thanks for joining me for another fun Sunday Social!
