I've been at home with sick kids for almost a week now and you guessed it now I'm starting to feel like I'm coming down with whatever they have. When I'm sick I like to have my comfort foods, for me that's any type of JUNK especially chips, not really sure why but makes me feel better. My daughter requests bacon and since I don't have to time to stand in front of the oven and cook it I do it my easy way – in the OVEN!!

My easy way to cook bacon so you aren't a slave to the stove and grease splatter.
Author: Real Momma
Serves: 4
Ingredients
- Bacon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F
- While you're waiting for the oven to heat line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the bacon strips on the sheet, leaving a little space in between each so they don't bake together
- Place baking sheet in the oven and leave it for 15-20 minutes! Remove from oven and place bacon on a plate lined with paper towel to absorb the extra grease
- TIP – for crispier bacon broil it at the end for a couple minutes!
The process is so simple all you have to do is put the bacon in the oven and walk away! Perfect every time.
Have you tried baking your bacon before?

Do you have a fool-safe recipe for cooking it in the microwave? I love bacon but hardly ever turn on my oven. I’m too frugal (a.k.a. cheap, smile).

I HATE cleaning my microwave so I don’t cook it in there – I know a strong word but that’s how much I dislike doing it, lol. My Mother-in-law has a really neat dish to do it and it only take a couple minutes.

Lovely recipe! I really joke to use the oven for cooking things like this! It is really much easier only the cleaning after this is a bit unpleasant! Thanks for the recipe! Greets!
