Help raise awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a recessive X-linked form of muscular dystrophy affecting 1 in 3,600 boys that results in muscle degeneration and eventual death. The Caring for Connor campaign is all about fighting against DMD and raising awareness to help others. The campaign will be an ongoing one to help raise awareness because the terrible statistical prognosis is that he will be in a power wheelchair, full time by the age of 10 and no longer be with us by age 20. Trying to keep some normalcy within their lives the family loves getting support from others with words of kindness, suggestions, donations, requests for sponsorship forms (because they are participating in a challenging activity) or to let them know of their plans to host a fundraising event in aid of Connor.
