If you can remember way back to summer we started a home makeover to turn an upstairs portion of the house into a guest suite. We're happy we decided to do it and now have a nice space to sit and relax. We were lucky enough to use our new Sauder Woodworking Co. pieces in a few new ways.
As you probably know when you take on a project like a total overhaul you have to expect a few hiccups in your plans. Luckily that wasn't with the furniture! I think I had more fun setting up our multiple pieces then actually putting the room together which is still a disaster in the making. I guess when you don't have to actually use a room everyday its easier to just forget about it.
If you remember we started with basically a bank slate with a kid explosion:
We purchased a few Sauder Woodworking Co. items:
- TV Stand
- Dresser
- Storage Organizer (cube shelf)
- Storage Ottoman
And went to work! We set up all our furniture and then started coming up with what we wanted to space to look like. The nice thing about all these items is you can use them in multiple ways.
Adding Functionality to any Room with @SauderUSA
With everything from a workspace, it is the perfect height for a kids desk:
To a LEGO Master building table:
The lines are so crisp and color so fresh on the actual tv stand it blends easily in any room:
I've learned that when you have kids you can expect everything to be perfect all the time. With a little imagination you can easily use any pieces of furniture in your home in multiple ways. A few home organization ideas:
- Use the dresser for craft supply storage
- The storage ottoman can easily double as a coffee table
- In the bedroom use the storage ottoman at the end of the bed for a seat and blanket storage
- The storage organizer is great for displaying collectibles
- Purchase bins for the storage organizer to hide unwanted clutter
