Redweek Time Share Rental – Review and Giveaway
I know, I know another review and giveaway and not much else this week but I’m swamped between paperwork, housework, kids and Canadian Thanksgiving just around the corner. So sorry, I’ll have some fun posts up soon!
So back to the timeshare rentals, this review is all about RedWeek.com and the amazing deal you can get for a rental almost anywhere in the world! I am not too familiar with timeshares but we do travel a lot so when I found out you could rent them I was extremely interested. So I figured I would check it out, to my surprised the meaning behind the name RedWeek.com is sup rising:
In the timeshare industry a “red week” is the best, or prime time, to own a timeshare (for example, Christmas week at a ski lodge, etc.). In using this term as the name of this company, it simply means “The Best.
Pretty straight forward right, so now I was on the hunt for some good deals and destinations! To my surprise I found out some really neat facts about using time share rentals:
- They typically cost up to 50% less than hotel rooms, especially when rented directly from the owner
- Most timeshare rentals come with a full-sized, fully-equipped kitchen
- You can stay at resorts and get VIP treatment and access to special areas because you’re using the timeshare
- You usually get separate bedrooms, a dining area, a living room, a patio or balcony, and a kitchen
- You don’t have to sit through the timeshare speech!
To me these are all bonuses in my book. The money saving option is what interests me the most. I contacted a couple owners on rentals I was interested in and they got back to me the same day and were all very nice and easy to correspond with. There is also a forum on the site so if you have questions and need answers it is a great place to go. There is a resource page and a search option as well so lots to read and info to help you along the way.
You can sign up for free and browse but you can’t contact owners or for a fee of $14.99 for 12 months you really can’t go wrong if you have a rental you’re interested in because you’ll make that back the first time you use the service.
This Real Momma gives RedWeek a 5/5
The 5 is based on the fact that I’m a traveller and I love to save money, if you aren’t a traveller well then obviously this isn’t for you but it is an excellent site, be sure to check it out!
