So here it is the review I promised from way back in my Library Adventure post on Jack Canfield's Key to Living the Law of Attraction: A Simple Guide to Creating the Life of Your Dreams.
Wow, is all I can say. If you are into the law of attraction and looking for a quick and easy read this is your book. In my opinion, this book holds everything you need to get started NOW. Stop making excuses that it takes work to get closer to your goals or that attracting things into your life isn’t easy because it is! The funny part for me is I am already practicing all the “keys” in the book and didn’t even realize it until I saw it all in the same place ~ I have to say a big thank you to Lora at Purposeful Life Coaching for that!

First off you have an idea of what your dreams, goals, aspirations, and hopes for yourself are. This book will help you fine tune those into a life purpose, because “when you are living your life “on purpose” you will find greater fulfillment and joy in all that you do”(page 41). By practicing the tools necessary to manifest positivity, gratitude, and to take action towards your goals you will realize that life is meant to be easy and that anything is possible.
You must bring yourself into alignment with what you are asking for. That’s what joy is, that’s what appreciation is, that’s what the feeling of passion is. But when you are feeling despair, or fear, or anger, those are strong indicators that you are not right now in alignment with what you are asking for. ~ Esther Hicks
I recommend giving the book a quick once through read and then go back and do the work so you can figure out clearly what you don’t want and start attracting what you do. Use the seven key areas in your life to create huge goals for yourself and see them come true. “Stop settling for whatever just happens to come your way in life, and take ownership of the fact that you can actively participate in the creation of your own future by clearly stating your desires” (page 54). Create positive and goal affirmations to read daily because “your subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between a real experience and a vividly imagined experience” (page 103). The most important thing to remember is “being truly grateful for what is already present in your life will automatically and effortlessly attract more good into your life” (page 117). At the end of the book you are given daily rituals to put into place, but remember it is going to take practice to be more positive, appreciative, grateful, and true to yourself so be confident in YOU and give it a strong effort for at least 30 days.

What I encourage you to do is take a moment and think of what truly makes you happy, gives you that passion that if you could you would do it every day, and ask yourself what is holding me back? If you dream it, you can do it!
