2015 is a great year for family-friendly movies. If you're in the dark about these upcoming releases, there are a ton of movie trailers out there for moms who want something good to watch with their kids. From remakes to sequels, and even entirely new ideas, there is definitely a movie for every child and every mom coming out this year.
The new live-action version of Walt Disney’s Cinderella is scheduled to enter theaters on March 13, 2015. This new version looks to be a wonderful telling of the tale of Cinderella, her step sisters and her love for a prince. It stars Cate Blanchett and Helena Bonham Carter, among others.
The newest Dreamworks animation film to come to theaters will be Home on March 27, 2015. Home is about a group of aliens that come to Earth to make our planet their new home, leaving humans to move elsewhere. Voices include those of Jim Parsons, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez and Steve Martin.
Walt Disney is pulling no punches with an array of new films this year, including Tomorrowland, starring George Clooney, Judy Greer and Tim McGraw. This movie about a former boy-genius and an optimistic teen that unearth the secrets of a somewhere off place opens May 22, 2015.
Walt Disney and Pixar Animation team together for Inside Out, a story about a girl whose life is changed when her father gets a new job and they have to move. To cope, she uses the control center inside her mind. Inside Out opens June 19, 2015.
For those that loved the Despicable Me movies, July 10, 2015 brings your favorite minions back to the big screen. Starring Sandra Bullock, Steve Carell, and Jon Hamm, Minions sees Gru recruited by an organization to stop a super-villain.
The Jungle Book
On Oct. 9, 2015, The Jungle Book gets a new live-action animation look. This version is a retelling of the original tales and adventures of Mowgli, written by Rudyard Kiping. It stars Christopher Walken, Scarlett Johansson and Ben Kingsley.
For fans of the Great Pumpkin and other Peanuts TV movies, this is the first time ever that Peanuts will be on the big screen. Starting Nov. 6, 2015, generations of people will see Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the gang from Charles Schulz's comic strip for the first time in theaters.
The Good Dinosaur
Walt Disney Studios asks, “What if the cataclysmic asteroid that forever changed life on Earth actually missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct?” They also answer, on Nov. 25, 2015, with the release of The Good Dinosaur, in conjunction with Pixar Animation. This fun story stars Neil Patrick Harris, Judy Greer and John Lithgow

On Dec. 23, 2015, just a couple days before Christmas, Jack Black returns for the third installment of Kung Fu Panda.
