I have been reflecting on this past year, and a HUGE part of that is my blog. It was fun for me to sit down and go through old posts and see how much I've changed as well as my writing. This post was originally from May 2012, but I thought that with Christmas upon us as well as New Year's Resolutions my Journaling page might be able to help one of you out there.
I use this journal page a lot, more as a template because I use my iPad and the pen I bought for it to journal now. Easier to save paper and most of the time I have my iPad with me. Don't get me wrong I still keep paper journal everywhere – beside my bed, in the car, kitchen, bathroom, living room, desk, and in my purse. Sometimes the good old paper and pen method just can't beat technology.
I am proud to bring you my old journaling post, feel free to download the journaling pages and use them as you see fit! I plan on updating the journal page in the New Year so if you would like to stay updated on new improvements join my email list by visiting my NEWSLETTER page! Don't worry I won't spam you, trust me I don't have to time for it!
Originally from May 2012:
Today for me was one of those overwhelming, I want to pull my hair and scream at the top of my lungs, kind of day. But its only a few hours until bed time and then I can sit and stare at the wall and attempt to decompress from all that unravelled today. Which in all honesty was nothing major just a few things at the store, the kids being a bit difficult, my site going crazy, not getting my grocery shopping done, Dustin trying not to nap but he really still needs to, and my house phone not working. Just another day in the life of a real Mom!
When I'm having one of those days, I like to remove the piles of emotions and realize it is the situation making me react and not me in control of the situation. A quick aha! moment and filling out my journaling sheet usually does the trick, that is when I realize what's going on. So I would like to share my Daily Journal sheet with all of you, a few prompts to get me thinking and realize that life really isn't that bad.
Enjoy and let me know how it works for you! Here's the link to the download: Daily Journal
