As a parent I find one of my hardest tasks is to get the kids to brush their teeth.  We visit the dentist regularly and we encourage the kids to have healthy brushing habits but sometimes no matter how hard I try my efforts fall short.  I did a few things to change that recently and I'm excited to tell you all about the Philips Sonicare for Kids!

This toothbrush is pretty amazing it is designed specifically with kids in mind.  They can customize their own toothbrush and even get interactive with the free Brush Busters – Philips App!  The app helps kids establish proper brushing habits and enables parents to monitor their child's brushing routine.  Incorporating fun games that guide the child through 2 minutes of thorough brushing, the Brush Busters app also allows parents and kids to set up customized rewards for a fun and engaging brushing experience!

Out of the box the toothbrush needs to be charged for 24 hours, which gives you enough time to talk to the kids about their new Philips Sonicare toothbrush and set brushing goals!  The toothbrush itself is designed to work in your child's mouth without too much effort on their part.  With 31,000 brush strokes per minute their teeth will be squeaky clean in no time!

And that's the toothatronic!  Cheyenne plays the electric guitar so her comparison of the guitar and the vibration makes a lot of sense.  I honestly would of never linked the two together.  As a parent I love the fact that the kids can share the toothbrush and change the head when they're using it, saves me money and is simple for packing on our summer road trip.

You can find the Philips Sonicare for Kids at major retailers including: Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart and London Drugs. The toothbrush retails for $59.99 which I believe is a great investment into your child's health (and might save you on dental bills in the long run).
